Participation at Contemporary Materials 2024
The Contemporary Materials 2024 conference continues to be a significant gathering for scientists and researchers focused on the development of new materials. The importance of creating contemporary materials cannot be understated, as they are at the forefront of advancements in medicine, environmental science, and industry.
With a focus on diverse fields such as biomaterials, nanotechnology, and water purification, the conference emphasizes the ongoing need for innovative solutions to global challenges. The synthesis of new materials, along with the study of their properties and applications, is crucial for driving progress in various sectors, from healthcare to environmental protection.
Our research group recognizes this importance and has been a regular participant in this conference. This year, Sanja Armaković delivered a plenary lecture titled “Exploring the Role of Polymers in Water Purification: Experiments, Modeling, and Machine Learning.” Her presentation highlighted how advanced polymers can serve as effective tools in water purification technologies, showcasing the intersection of experimental work and computational modeling. EMOS research group also participated with two poster contributions:
– Poster contribution by Andrijana Bilić, Sanja J. Armaković, Svetlana Pelemiš, Maria M. Savanović, Stevan Armaković – EXPLORING THE ADSORPTION POTENTIAL OF CARBON NANOTUBES AS EFFICIENT ADSORBERS FOR DRUG MOLECULES
– Poster contribution by Maria M. Savanović, Stevan Armaković, Andrijana Bilić, Svetlana Pelemiš, Sanja J. Armaković – ENVIRONMENTAL EFFICIENCY OF UV-ACTIVATED TiO2-MODIFIED ACRYLIC SELF-CLEANING SURFACES
Participating in Contemporary Materials not only allows us to share our research but also to engage with the latest trends and developments in materials science. It provides a valuable opportunity for networking, collaboration, and fostering a deeper understanding of how new materials can be designed to meet future needs.
