Andrijana succesfully participated at OPTICS-12 conference in Yerevan, Armenia

We are delighted to share that Andrijana Bilić, a valued member of our research group, had the privilege of participating in an event organized by esteemed colleagues led by Prof. David Blaschke and Prof. Narine Gevorgyan. The 12th International Symposium on “Optics & Its Applications” (OPTICS-12) was held this year in Yerevan, Armenia, across multiple venues at the Yerevan State University.

The symposium surpassed our high expectations with its impressive turnout and outstanding scientific quality. Its primary goal was to unite experienced and early-career scientists from diverse countries working in optics, offering an ideal platform for discussing the latest advancements in the discipline.

Presenting our research, “Computational Insights into UV Spectrophotometric Behavior of PMMA in the Presence of Pharmaceutical Pollutants through Atomistic Calculations,” at OPTICS-12 was an invaluable experience. It allowed us to share our findings, connect with fellow researchers, and explore potential collaborations. We are deeply grateful to the organizers for providing this opportunity to advance our understanding of designing new materials for future challenges and for the chance to visit the beautiful city of Yerevan.
